Henry Beckham was born on October 4,
1826 in Hardin County, Tennessee. His census records say Tennessee, most likely Hardin County because records indicate that his
parents Leonard Beckham and Zilphia Rose were there near that time.
On the 1850 census, Henry is still
living with his parents.
Henry Beckham married Edna “Edney”
Vaughn, daughter of John Vaughn and Nancy Matlock on November 19,

My husband is a direct descendant of Nancy MATLOCK Vaughn; her daughter, Missouri Ellen VAUGHN, married Curtis GLENN (seen on Nancy's estate inventory on your blog). Given the preponderance of MATLOCKs, VAUGHNs, and GLENNs on your blog, we're surely related. Question: Curtis' father was Joseph GLENN (abt. 1814-aft. 1850; C's pension record). Joseph GLENN and Corder FINE were both on the St. Louis police force ca1850 (news article). Some researchers say Joseph's parents were Hugh GLENN and Elizabeth FINE, but I've not found any primary evidence to date. Joseph married Mary DRURY 16 May 1839, St. Louis; they and three children (except Curtis) all disappear after the 1850 US Census. Any clues? I can send you what I have. -- Jenifer Johnson jjpackard56@gmail.com
