Henry Beckham and Edna Vaughn, Part 2

Obituaries for Edna E Vaughn Beckham and Henry Beckham are from Hazel Beckham Mikkelson's scrapbook.  Hazel was the the daughter of Green Beckham and granddaughter of Edna and Henry Beckham.

Corrections to information in Henry Beckham's obituary: His father was not born in England.  Henry's grandfather, Stephen Beckham served in the Revolutionary War.  Read more here.

His mother, Ziplha Rose was not born in England.  This line is not as well documented, but the census records for Ziphia are consistent in listing her birthplace as North Carolina.  She lists her father as being born in Virginia and her mother as being born in North Carolina.  Read more here.
